Fabulous weekend retreat!

Well I just got back last night from a weekend scrapping retreat in East Waterford PA and I had the best time! If any of you are on facebook you should join up with the group 'Croppin For a Cause' as they run these weekends. It was fun, there was so much laughter & so much creativity. Vendors were great, classes & make and takes were great, food was great, people were fantastic... oh and the prizes, so many of them!

This is a shoe made out of patterned paper that I made as one of the classes this past weekend. Isn't it amazing?!

Sad sad news

Well things are sad around our house right now. My husband unfortunately just got laid off from his work. There were about 40 people laid off, just because they decided to downsize and cut back. Came as a total shock.

So therefore, if anyone knows of any positions in IT for a business systems analyst then let me know.

Or if you would want to schedule a CTMH party or workshop (I can do cards, 2 page layouts or a beautiful memory keeper box) then let me know. Trying to save money and make money right now!

This is a CTMH memory keeper box that I just altered to put Thank You cards in. I used the Veranda Creative Basics paper pack, as well as some twilight cardstock and a clear button (that I put some of the paper underneath). Missing my scrapbook supplies!

Well as those who know me probably already know, we are moving soon! We move, tentatively, on December 19th to our new house in Flemington NJ. So for now all my scrapbook supplies are packed up and in storage. Not a stamp, piece of cardstock or ink pad in the house!

Lately with the stress of selling our current house I am missing my scrapbook supplies a lot. That was definitely my way to relax and destress... to scrapbook or make a card etc.

But I keep trying to think positive that it will only be about 4-6 weeks & then I should hopefully have all my supplies back out & be able to craft again!

Our new home has a walkout basement, so half of it will be for my crafting area! Can't wait to do it up to my liking!

But for now, I just miss my supplies!

My Mum is visiting!

Well I have been having a lovely time, with my Mum visting from England. We have been out doing lots of shopping of course & the time is flying by. She goes back on friday evening & I will be sad when she heads back to Jolly Old England!

Back to school today!

Well it has finally come. Both my girls are going to 'big girl school' today. They start PreK4! They will be taking a school bus there & back too. Emily is very excited, Elise is indifferent. Mommy is excited for some time alone, but a wee bit sad as it means they are growing up!

Operation Smile Crop

I am getting so excited, as I am holding a crop for Operation Smile on saturday! Smaller group of ladies, 13 of us, but a good way to start out for my first charity crop. Getting all the goodie bags ready, have some great donations for the paid raffle. Should be fun!
