The new MIRACLE KIT!

Wow is this kit beautiful and fun!
From April 15th - May 31st you can purchase this kit outright, or get it at a discount with purchase, to celebrate National Scrapbooking Day.
The kit comes with papers, die cuts, beautiful chipboard pieces (that are resist embossed, totally cooooool!), cardstock, flip flaps & an accessory packet. Plus full color brochure to guide you through making 4 fabulous pages.
I put the kit together last week and I am in love!
The colors are beautiful blues and greens, so very neutral, perfect for boys, girls, pets, outdoor photos, spring photos, so many things!
My favorite thing is the new chipboard irresistable shapes though. They are resist embossed, so when you ink them up with your favorite colors, the pattern embossed on them stays white, the rest of the chipboard shape is dyed the ink color. Totally cool & very pretty!
Check out my website to see more pictures of the kit and to order it!

Planted a vegetable garden!

Well now that the weather is starting to turn a bit warmer we decided to dig over the overgrown vegetable plot we inherited and turn it into something nice! So today we finished weeding, tilling & digging. Then this afternoon we just planted basil, rosemary, strawberries, lots of tomatoes, brocolli, rhubarb, red cabbage, peppers, onions, corn, and watermelon!

This is our first time planting a vegetable garden so we are prepared that nothing may take. But gosh it will be wonderful if we do get some fresh veggies out of it!

The girls were quite excited to help, so they dug a hole to plant one veggie each. Elise was treating her plant like a baby. Toting it around on the back of her trike, before we finally persuaded her to plant her baby pepper plant!

We also found a cocoon in the ground, so have brought it inside & put it in our butterfly habitat to see if it will hatch out.

Anyone else planted veggies for this year? What kind did you plant?

Wow, what a fun time I had at the Martha Stewart show today. I really do love Martha and think she is so fabulous at so many things. Gardening, crafting, cooking, entertaining... she can do it all! I got to sit in the front row, slightly to the side, so had a fabulous view of Martha, Joey the warm up guy, the guests and the set. It was great!
When we left we all received a copy of the latest Martha Stewart Living magazine, as well as the book Specialites de la Maison... a charming recipe book.
If anyone is thinking this sounds like a fun day out then go request tickets, they are free! It really is a fun day out, trust me!

Spring has sprung!

Wow, is the weather beautiful outside! I am so happy Spring is here and the cold cold weather is gone!
We have this beautiful cherry tree in our garden at our new house and I simply love it. Just so pretty. With the daffodils around the bottom it just is the perfect sign of spring!
Today I am springing off to NYC too! I am attending a taping of Martha Stewart show and just cannot wait. I love Martha!
